Distribution and manufacturing buildings break the assumptions office cabling is built on. Runs blow past 90 meters, ceilings are 30 feet up, ambient temperatures climb through an Arizona summer, and forklifts eventually hit something. The design has to account for all of it before the first spool comes off the truck.

We handle high bay pulls from a lift, overhead tray and messenger routing, fiber backbone between buildings and between IDFs, and hardened terminations for handheld scanners, label printers, dock equipment, and camera runs. Where distance rules out copper, we run fiber and drop a small switch at the far end rather than pushing a run past spec and hoping.

Fiber between the MDF and remote closets so no horizontal run exceeds 90 meters, with IDFs placed to serve the real floor layout.

High bay and overhead routing

Tray, messenger wire, and strut runs installed from lifts, with proper support spacing so cable is not hanging on the ceiling deck.

Scanner and AP coverage

Access point drops placed for racking density and aisle geometry, not just ceiling symmetry, so handhelds stay connected down every aisle.

Hardened and protected runs

Conduit and armored cable where forklifts and pallet jacks travel, plus sealed penetrations between conditioned and unconditioned space.

Questions we get

What happens when a run is longer than 100 meters?

Ethernet stops being reliable past 100 meters channel length, and that limit gets consumed fast in a big building once you add vertical rise and patch cords. The fix is fiber to a remote closet with a small switch, not a longer copper run or an inline extender. We plan IDF locations first so every horizontal run stays inside spec.

Can you work around our shifts?

Yes. Most warehouse work happens between shifts, on weekends, or in zones so operations keep moving. We coordinate lift staging and aisle closures with your ops manager ahead of time.

How do you keep cable safe from forklift damage?

Anything below about 12 feet in a traffic path goes in conduit or armored cable, drops near dock doors get protected sleeves, and we route around known impact zones. Cheap insurance compared to a downed lane during peak.

Do you install cabling for warehouse cameras and Wi-Fi?

Yes, and they usually belong in the same design conversation. Camera and access point placement drives where drops land, and doing them in one pull saves a second lift mobilization.
