Questions we get
We already have an IT company or managed service provider. Can you work with them?
That is fine, and it is the normal arrangement. Network Cabling Solutions handles the physical installation while your IT provider handles configuration and network administration. We coordinate with your IT team during office moves, tenant improvements, network upgrades, equipment replacements, and new installations. We install the infrastructure; your IT provider configures the technology.
Do you configure the switches too?
No, and that is deliberate. We handle the physical installation, mounting, power, and cabling, then hand off to your IT provider or MSP for configuration. That split keeps every vendor accountable for their own layer, and it is why our installs stay clean.
Can you clean up an existing rack without downtime?
Mostly, yes. Re-dressing patch cords and labeling can happen live one connection at a time. Anything that requires moving a switch or repowering gear gets scheduled into a maintenance window so nothing drops during business hours.
Do we need a full rack or will a wall mount cabinet do?
Depends on the drop count and what has to live in it. A suite with a switch, a panel, and a firewall fits a wall mount cabinet fine. Once you add servers, a UPS with real runtime, or growth headroom, a floor rack costs little more and saves a forklift upgrade later.
Can you add a UPS to our existing setup?
Yes. We size the UPS against the actual draw of what is in the rack, install it at the bottom of the rack where the weight belongs, and split the load so one failed circuit does not take the whole closet down.
