Low voltage is the umbrella over most of the wiring a modern building needs: data and voice drops, camera runs, wireless access points, access control, paging, and AV. Hire a separate vendor for each and you get four mobilizations, four labeling habits, and a closet nobody fully owns. Scope them together and the systems share pathways, one crew pulls them in one pass, and every cable lands on a documented panel.

We pull permits where the jurisdiction requires them, carry the paperwork general contractors and property managers ask for before badge access, and coordinate cleanly with electricians so the line voltage and low voltage scopes meet at the right wall without stepping on each other.

Questions we get
What counts as low voltage?
Broadly, the wiring that carries signal rather than power. That covers network and phone cabling, camera and access control runs, wireless access point drops, paging, and AV. If it terminates in a network closet instead of an electrical panel, it is usually ours.
Do low voltage jobs need permits?
It depends on the jurisdiction and the scope. Some valley cities require low voltage permits and inspections, others exempt it. We know which is which, we pull the permit when one is required, and the cost is in the written scope instead of appearing later as a surprise.
How is new construction different from a retrofit?
New construction is about sequence: getting pathways and rough-in done before walls close, then trimming out after paint. Retrofit is about the building you have: working above occupied space, fishing existing walls, and scheduling around your operating hours. We quote them differently because the labor lives in different places.
Do you replace our electrician, or work with them?
Work with them. Line voltage stays with the electrician, signal wiring stays with us, and the two scopes are coordinated so power for equipment shows up where the racks and cameras actually land.
